Early Intervention Centre specializes in ASD specific educational and developmental support services for children between the ages of 3 to 7 years. Monitoring individual child's progress is essential to ensure that all children make sufficient progress in all areas as planned in an Individualized Educational and Developmental Plan (IEDP). Aims to provide quality child care and therapy while identifying and educating children with ASD. Embraces an eclectic approach, (Applied Behavioural Analysis) PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), TEACCH, Makaton and Low Arousal to ensure the holistic development of each individual learner. Our programme supervisor and support therapy staff is fully trained in all these approaches. All our facilitators are trained and practiced in these approaches. This includes breaking skills up into smaller components, reinforcing appropriate behaviour throughout, changing antecedent and consequence manipulations to decrease problem behaviour and teaching in play and structured environments. Facilitator- child ratio: 1 facilitator to 4 learners We believe in a multi-disciplinary team approach. Learners will be assessed by an Educational psychologist, a speech therapist and an occupational Therapist on enrollment and therapy support will be provided. A 2year Individual educational and developmental plans (IEDP's) are developed for each learner and monitored on a daily basis. Parent feedback is given every 6 months to ensure continuous progress. We offers multiple options to fit the needs of all learners and parents/caretakers.
